Initiated by the African Union, Agenda 2063 is not just a strategic framework—it is a bold vision for inclusive and sustainable development, grounded in Pan-Africanism and the African Renaissance. It echoes our foundation’s own mission to empower communities, champion youth and gender equality, and drive grassroots development.

In May 2013, during the AU’s Golden Jubilee celebrations, Africa’s Heads of State and Government reaffirmed their commitment to this transformative journey by signing the 50th Anniversary Solemn Declaration. This act redefined the continent’s priorities—from political independence to a focus on economic development, democratic governance, peace, and integration.

Guided by the inspirational leadership of Dr. Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma—former Chairperson of the African Union Commission—Agenda 2063 envisions:
